The 21/90 rule states that it takes 21 days to make a habit and 90 days to make it a permanent lifestyle change. … Commit to your goal for 21 days and it will become a habit. Commit to your goal for 90 days and it will become a part of your lifestyle.
When I first started this email list I wanted to begin a different way that I could share and journal my life with others. To influence people and have people WANT to read my daily email. Now I know that this list was not going to blow up over night.
I have 39 subscribers and probably 8% of those subs (you guys) actually read my emails each and every day. But as the days went on and the emails kept coming I was slowly building a habit. And now I can’t go a day without sending this email. I feel unaccomplished if I do not send one out.
I followed the 21/90 rule. I continued sending out my daily emails even on the days I didn’t feel like it or the days I had no ideas what to write about, I kept going.
It’s the same with your Personal Training sessions. You cannot expect me to give results to you within two weeks. After all it takes 21 days to build a habit. How do you expect to lose 31 kgs in 2 weeks.
It just isn’t possible. And that is why you resort to the magic pill and fat burning coffee.
Creating a habit and changing our lifestyle takes time. Takes 90 days!
Now if you came into the gym and said “Lochie I am giving you 90 days to help me lose 30 kgs” that is something I can definitely work with and make possible.
But if you come into the gym, Do 1 PT session per week, not exercise by yourself, eat like trash, and not get your daily move in, obviously I can’t help you achieve your goal…
One PT session a week is not enough to create a habit or change your lifestyle.
You HAVE to put in the work.
Even on the days you don’t want to or feel like it.
It takes 21 days. Not 20.
How are you going to use your 21 days?
Thinking about joining my team? Give me 90 days and I will completely change the way you live.
